Our research interests include materials design, synthesis & characterization, stuctural analysis & design, lightweight energy absorbing composites, and environmentally-friendly composites. An advocate of interdisciplinary research, our work focuses on polymer engineering, composite mechanics, finite element analysis, bio-based natural resources, and 3D printing technology  that impact  various engineering applications to stimulate scientific discovery, support novel material development, and acheive optimum design of structures.
